Srinagar, Sept. 8 -- Srinagar- An unidentified body was found in the Chamalwas area of Banihal in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday, officials said.

An official said that the body was recovered from Chamalwas and shifted to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Banihal, where it has been kept in the mortuary for identification.

He said the identity of the deceased could not be ascertained immediately.

Meanwhile, police have initiated necessary proceedings and further investigation has been taken up. (KNO)
