Srinagar, Aug. 13 -- Srinagar- Two teenage boys were killed and two others injured on Thursday after they were struck by lightning in Anantnag district of South Kashmir, officials said.

The lightning struck Gawran Nard in Anantnag district.

Officials said the deceased have been identified as Faizan Ahmad (18) and Bilal Ahmad Battana (16).

Sajad Ahmad Battana (15) and Shareef Ahmad Battana sustained injuries in the incident, the officials said, adding they were admitted to a primary health centre in Larnoo area of the district. (PTI)
