Srinagar, July 30 -- Srinagar- Two people were injured after being bitten by a stray dog in Mendhar Main Bazar area of Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday.

Officials said that the incident occurred in the busy market area of Mendhar in Poonch.

Both the injured were immediately shifted to the Government Sub District Hospital, Mendhar for treatment. Their condition is stated to be stable.

Local residents have urged the administration to take measures to control the stray dog menace in the area.(GNS)
