Srinagar, Sept. 9 -- Srinagar- Police have arrested two persons in connection with the alleged abduction and sexual assault of a Class 7 student in the Mendhar area of Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Officials said the girl's father approached Police Station Gursai and alleged that his minor daughter was abducted and assaulted while she was returning home on September 6, reporeted newsx agency GNS.

According to the complaint, the girl had boarded a cab allegedly driven by Zahoor Mushtaq alias Sonu, who is accused of taking her to his residence along with his friend, Muhammad Irfan.
