Train Youth for Emerging Job Markets, CM Omar Tells Skill Institutions
Srinagar, Sept. 3 -- Srinagar- Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Thursday laid the foundation stone for several development works at Kashmir Government Polytechnic, Srinagar, and e-inaugurated infrastructure upgrades worth Rs.4.20 crore at Government Polytechnics in Kishtwar, Ramban, Kulgam and Kupwara.
Addressing students and faculty at the event, Omar stressed the need to make technical and vocational education more closely aligned with the changing demands of the job market, saying formal education must be complemented by practical, job-oriented skills.
