Srinagar, July 31 -- Srinagar- Three people were injured after a gas cylinder leak triggered an accident inside a hut in Gund area of central Kashmir's Ganderbal district on Friday, officials said.

The injured have been identified as Abdul Hameed Wani, 37, Manzoor Ahmad Ganie, 40, and Shahri Yaar Majeed, 40, all residents of Wakura village, they said.

The trio suffered burn injuries after gas leaked from a cylinder inside the hut, officials said, as per news agency KNT.

They were initially shifted to Sub-District Hospital Kangan for treatment and later referred to SKIMS Soura for specialised care.

Hospital sources said the condition of all three injured persons was stable.
