Srinagar, July 17 -- Srinagar- For more than four months, every phone call, every passing day, and every knock on the door carried a sliver of hope for the family of 29-year-old Amjad Ali Bhat from north Kashmir's Baramulla district.
Their days were marked by uncertainty. With no official word on his whereabouts or the charges against him, the family clung to fragments of information, relying on colleagues, diplomats and distant assurances while fearing the worst.
That agonising wait finally ended when Amjad was released from a jail in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, bringing relief to a family that had spent months searching for answers.
