Srinagar, April 11 -- Srinagar-The India Meteorological Department on Friday forecast generally dry weather in Jammu and Kashmir over the next few days, with a gradual rise in day temperatures.

An official of the Meteorological Centre Srinagar said that brief spells of light rain or thundershowers are likely at a few places on April 11, mainly during late afternoon or evening hours.

The weather is expected to remain largely dry on April 12, with isolated light rain spells, followed by completely dry conditions on April 13 and 14. Similar conditions are likely on April 15, while scattered rain and thundershowers may occur again on April 16 and 17. The department has forecast dry weather from April 18 to 20.
