Srinagar, April 24 -- Srinagar- The Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) Srinagar has expressed concern over continued non-compliance of its earlier judgment in a salary-related case and directed the personal appearance of a senior official to ensure implementation.
The direction came in a contempt petition filed by Ghulam Mustafa Mantoo against the General Administration Department, where the applicant alleged that the judgment passed in his favor had not been implemented despite being upheld by the High Court.
The tribunal noted that despite assurances from the government side to file compliance within a stipulated time, the response submitted was repetitive and did not address the core issue of implementing the order.
