India, Oct. 23 -- Higher reaches of South Kashmir, including Peer Ki Gali, Sinthan Top and Ahrabal, received fresh snowfall on Friday, while the Meteorological Centre Srinagar has forecast generally dry weather across the Valley until October 31.

An official of the Meteorological Centre Srinagar said that brief spells of light rain are possible at a few places in Kashmir on Saturday afternoon.

According to the weather forecast, conditions are likely to remain generally dry from October 25 to 31, although the sky may turn cloudy towards the end of the month.

The MeT Centre has forecast generally cloudy weather, with light rain and light snowfall in higher reaches at a few places from November 1 to 3.
