Srinagar, June 10 -- Srinagar- Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Wednesday called for greater collaboration among scientists and researchers to harness emerging technologies and strengthen healthcare systems, saying precision medicine represents a major revolution in modern healthcare.

Addressing the inaugural session of the Annual Conference of the Indian Immunology Society, IMMUNOCON-2026, at Srinagar, Sinha highlighted the growing role of immunology in biomedical innovation and public health.

The conference, organised by the Advanced Centre for Human Genetics at SKIMS, is themed "Beneath the Grandeur of Chinar: Illuminating Mysteries from Fundamentals to Translational Frontiers in Health".
