Srinagar, Sept. 10 -- Srinagar- The Supreme Court Collegium has approved the recommendation for the appointment of senior judicial officer Yash Paul Bourney as a Judge of the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.

The decision was taken at the meeting of the Supreme Court Collegium held on September 10.

In its statement, the Collegium said it had approved the proposal for the appointment of Yash Paul Bourney, Judicial Officer, as a Judge of the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.

The Supreme Court Collegium is headed by Chief Justice of India Justice Surya Kant and comprises Justice Vikram Nath and Justice B.V. Nagarathna.
