Srinagar, Sept. 28 -- Srinagar- The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Monday informed the Legislative Assembly that the proposed Integrated Solid Waste Management (ISWM) project at Achan in Srinagar, estimated to cost Rs 361 crore, is currently under the tendering process.

The project is designed to process around 800 tonnes of municipal solid waste per day and has a proposed construction timeline of 24 months, the government said in reply to a question raised by MLA Mubarak Gul.
