Srinagar, Oct. 24 -- In the wake of the Rajya Sabha election results, the victorious members from Jammu and Kashmir pledged to represent the aspirations of the people in the Parliament.

Senior National Conference (NC) leader Choudhary Muhammad Ramzan, who won one of the seats, described the victory as a collective achievement of NC President Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah. Speaking to the media, he said, "It is a great victory today as the MLAs from NC, Congress, PDP and independents voted in favour of NC candidates." He further termed the win as a symbolic rejection of the August 5, 2019 decision.
