Rains Bring Relief to Kashmir Valley; More Ahead
Srinagar, June 13 -- Srinagar- Fresh rainfall across the Kashmir Valley and light snowfall in the higher reaches on Saturday brought temperatures down significantly, keeping weather conditions pleasant and well below normal for this time of the year.
According to data released by the Meteorological Centre Srinagar, maximum temperatures across most parts of the Valley remained several degrees below the seasonal average. Srinagar recorded a maximum temperature of 23.8 degrees Celsius, 4.2 degrees below normal, while Pahalgam registered 17 degrees Celsius, nearly seven degrees below the average.
