Srinagar, July 23 -- Srinagar- The Meteorological Department has forecast the continuation of wet weather across Jammu and Kashmir over the coming days, with another spell of rain and thundershowers expected at many places on Friday.

According to the MeT Department, scattered rainfall is likely across the Union Territory between July 25 and 27, while a fresh and more widespread wet spell is expected to affect Jammu and Kashmir from July 28 onwards.

The forecast comes as the Union Territory continues to reel under the impact of five days of incessant rainfall that has triggered cloudbursts, flash floods, landslides and rising river levels in several districts.
