Srinagar, April 25 -- Srinagar- Police across Kashmir on Saturday intensified their crackdown on drug trafficking, launching coordinated operations, detaining repeat offenders, attaching properties linked to narcotics proceeds, and publicly identifying alleged peddlers as part of a multi-pronged strategy to dismantle drug networks.
In south Kashmir's Anantnag district, police carried out coordinated narco cordon-and-search operations (CASOs) at nearly 20 identified hotspot locations. Multiple teams conducted searches at the residences of alleged drug kingpins in an effort to disrupt trafficking networks.
