Srinagar, April 28 -- Srinagar- Union Minister for Agriculture and Rural DevelopmentShivraj Singh Chouhanon Tuesday launched PMGSY-IV (Batch-II) at the Sher-i-Kashmir International Conference Centre (SKICC) here, announcing a wide-ranging rural development push for Jammu and Kashmir and asserting that connectivity remains central to inclusive growth.

Opening his address on a personal note, Chouhan greeted the audience warmly and said he had come in the spirit of public service rather than protocol. Calling Jammu and Kashmir "duniya ka swarg," he said the region holds deep emotional and developmental importance for him.
