Srinagar, Sept. 24 -- Srinagar- Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police Nalin Prabhat on Thursday reviewed the security situation in the Union Territory, with a focus on strengthening police capabilities and enhancing the operational preparedness of personnel.

Prabhat chaired a security and operations review meeting at Police Control Room (PCR) Kashmir to assess the prevailing security scenario, a police spokesperson said.

The meeting was attended by senior police officers of the Kashmir Zone, including Inspector General of Police Kashmir Sujit Kumar.

During the meeting, officers briefed the DGP on the prevailing security situation, operational preparedness and key security-related developments.
