Srinagar, June 17 -- Srinagar- Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Wednesday asserted that the National Conference (NC) would remain steadfast in its political ideology and would never sacrifice its principles for power, irrespective of changing political alliances at the national level.Responding to questions about some opposition parties extending support to the NDA on select issues, Omar said the National Conference's political decisions are guided by its values and commitment to the people of Jammu and Kashmir rather than political expediency.

"Political circumstances may change, but our principles remain unchanged. The National Conference will not compromise its ideology or political legacy for any position or advantage," he said.
