Srinagar, July 7 -- Srinagar- More than 1.13 lakh pilgrims have performed darshan at the Amarnath cave shrine so far, as Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Tuesday reviewed the ongoing pilgrimage and directed officials to ensure the safety, security and hassle-free movement of devotees.

Chairing a high-level meeting here, Sinha asked senior officials to ensure that pilgrims are properly registered and assisted by officers on the ground.

"Our goal is to make this pilgrimage a truly memorable experience for everyone and ensure they have access to the best possible amenities. Safety, security and hassle-free darshan of Baba Barfani must remain our top priority," the Lieutenant Governor said.
