Srinagar, Aug. 4 -- According to official sources, the beneficiaries include families from North, Central, and South Kashmir whose loved ones were killed by terrorist organisations such as Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), Hizbul Mujahideen (HM), and Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) over the past three decades of terrorism in the Valley.

"They were subjected to horrific brutality, including mutilation and public executions, aimed at spreading terror among the population," sources said.

They said the victims included civilians and primary breadwinners, and their deaths caused not only emotional trauma but also economic hardship and social exclusion for their families.
