Srinagar, May 9 -- Srinagar- Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha's 'Nasha Mukt J-K' campaign on Saturday reached south Kashmir's Anantnag district, where he appealed to all sections of society to join the fight against drug menace in the Union Territory.

Sinha led hundreds of people on the 'padyatra' from Degree College in the Khanabal area to Nai Basati as part of the 100-day 'Nasha Mukt J-K Abhiyaan' launched last month to combat drug addiction and trafficking across Jammu and Kashmir.

"I appeal to the people to break the silence to win this war against drugs, and all sections of society must speak in one voice about the dangers of drug addiction," the LG said while addressing a public gathering.
