Srinagar, Sept. 21 -- Srinagar- Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Monday felicitated organisers and volunteers of Langar organisations at Katra, Reasi, following the successful conclusion of the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2026.

The 57-day pilgrimage, which began on July 3 and concluded on August 28, saw more than 4.80 lakh devotees have darshan of Baba Barfani.

Sinha praised the langar volunteers for their selfless service and said their contribution reflected India's "eternal cultural consciousness".

"We saw the spirit of selfless service manifest in the early days of the yatra and despite the unforeseen crowds, there was no shortage of any kind," he said.
