Srinagar, April 21 -- Bangalore - Karnataka's capital is set to witness a significant moment for its Kashmiri community as the Kashmir Association Bangalore (KAB) prepares to hold elections on Wednesday, ending a hiatus of more than 13 years and reviving a key platform for community representation, a spokesperson for the association said.

The long-delayed vote, scheduled for 22 April, is being framed by organisers and participants as a turning point, not only restoring democratic leadership within the body but also attempting to rebuild trust, relevance and cohesion among Kashmiris living in the southern Indian metropolis.
