Srinagar, Aug. 20 -- The two-day workshop, titledStrengthening the Internal Committees for Zero Tolerance Campus, was an attempt to reimagine how institutions in Kashmir respond to one of the most underreported and stigmatized issues in society.
Organized by the college's Internal Committee with WISCOMP (Women in Security, Conflict Management and Peace), New Delhi, the gathering brought together Internal Committee members and "gender champions" from colleges across the valley.
On stage, Prof. Mohammad Mobin, Vice Chancellor of Cluster University Srinagar, wasted little time. "Internal Committees must inspire trust," he told the audience.
