Srinagar, Aug. 4 -- Srinagar- Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Tuesday described the completion of rail connectivity from Kashmir to Kanyakumari as one of the defining achievements of Indian Railways' transformation, saying it reflects a new era of infrastructure development, national integration and economic progress.Addressing 69 officer trainees of the Indian Railways Institute of Transport Management (IRITM), Lucknow, during their field visit to Jammu and Kashmir, Sinha said Indian Railways has evolved far beyond a passenger transport network to become a key pillar of the country's development.
