Srinagar, Aug. 27 -- Srinagar - The Jammu and Kashmir Home Department on Thursday ordered a major reshuffle in the police establishment, transferring and posting 14 officers, including 11 IPS and three Jammu and Kashmir Police Service (JKPS) officers, with immediate effect.
According to the order, Sujit Kumar (IPS, AGMUT:2007), who was serving as IGP Security, J&K, has been appointed IGP Kashmir Zone.
Tejinder Singh (IPS, AGMUT:2008), IGP CID, J&K, has been transferred and posted as IGP Jammu Zone, replacing Bhim Sen Tuti.
Tuti (IPS, AGMUT:2004), who was serving as IGP Jammu Zone, has been transferred and posted as IGP Headquarters, J&K, against an available vacancy.
