Srinagar, Aug. 10 -- Srinagar- Jammu and Kashmir is likely to witness widespread rainfall and thundershowers over the next few days, with heavy to very heavy rain forecast at a few places in the Jammu division on Tuesday, the Meteorological Centre Srinagar said.

According to the latest forecast, light to moderate rain and thundershowers are likely at most places across Jammu and Kashmir till August 11, with peak activity expected during the day and night of Tuesday.

Heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely at a few places in the Jammu division, while brief spells of intense heavy showers may occur at a few places in Kashmir.
