Srinagar, May 8 -- Srinagar- The Jammu and Kashmir cabinet on Friday discussed the implementation of 200 units of free electricity for Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY) families and also approved the reorganisation of the Jal Shakti Department, sources disclosed.Sources said that the cabinet meeting, chaired by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, deliberated on the modalities for providing 200 units of free electricity to AAY beneficiaries in Jammu and Kashmir.

According to sources, discrepancies were found in the data of AAY families maintained by the Department of Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs and the Power Development Department.
