India, March 20 -- Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Friday extended greetings to the people on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, with the festival set to be celebrated on Saturday.In his message, the Lieutenant Governor conveyed his "heartiest greetings and good wishes" to the people, describing Eid-ul-Fitr as a festival of deep spiritual and social significance marking the culmination of the holy month of Ramazan.
He said the occasion reflects the spirit of sacrifice and sharing, and urged people to reaffirm their commitment to serving humanity, particularly the poor and needy.
