Srinagar, Sept. 9 -- Srinagar- The Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh High Court has held that the Jammu and Kashmir Civil Services Decentralisation of Recruitment and other Service Conditions Rules cannot automatically be extended to autonomous or statutory bodies unless the governing framework specifically makes those rules applicable.

The ruling was delivered by Justice Sanjay Dhar on September 8 in a service dispute involving Shamshad Ahmad Lone and the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and others, including the Tourism Department, Kashmir.
