Srinagar, Aug. 5 -- Srinagar- The Jammu and Kashmir Waqf Board has uploaded details of thousands of Waqf properties on the UMEED Central Portal-2025, with 25,248 properties shown as approved as of July 31, 2026, the Ministry of Minority Affairs informed the Lok Sabha on Wednesday.

The information was provided by Union Minister for Minority Affairs Kiren Rijiju in response to an unstarred question raised by MPs E Tukaram and Sasikanth Senthil regarding digitisation, income reporting and transparent management of Waqf properties following the Waqf (Amendment) Act, 2025.
