Srinagar, July 21 -- Srinagar- The Jammu and Kashmir government on Tuesday extended the summer vacation for all government and recognised private schools in the Kashmir division and winter zones of the Jammu division till July 26 in view of the prevailing weather conditions.

The schools, which were originally scheduled to reopen on July 20 after the summer break announced earlier this month, will now resume classes on Monday, July 27, Education Minister Sakina Itoo said.
