Srinagar, Sept. 22 -- Srinagar- Jammu and Kashmir Bank is set to restart recruitment of banking assistants and officers after a gap of five years, with the recruitment notification expected to be issued within the next few days.

J&K Bank Managing Director and CEO Amitava Chatterjee, addressing the bank's 88th Annual General Meeting at SKICC Srinagar said the agreement with the agency that will conduct the recruitment examinations has been finalised.

"The negotiations and the signing of the agreement with the agency which will conduct these examinations are over. Our bank will come out with a notification in a few days," Chatterjee said, as per news agency KNO.

He said the recruitment process will cover Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh.
