Srinagar, Aug. 15 -- From Srinagar to Kupwara, the day was marked by flag-hoisting ceremonies, parades, and speeches reflecting the region's cultural heritage and the resilience of its people. As a mark of respect for those who lost their lives in Kishtwar, all cultural performances and felicitation events were cancelled.
