Srinagar, Aug. 29 -- Srinagar- Six persons have so far been arrested in connection with the alleged rape and subsequent death of a 15-year-old tribal girl in Kishtwar, as the Special Investigation Team (SIT) continues its probe into the circumstances surrounding the case.

The arrests include the school headmaster accused of sexually exploiting the minor, his brother, a nurse at District Hospital Kishtwar and a daily-wage sanitation worker posted at the hospital. The government has suspended the teacher, while the sanitation worker has been dismissed from service.

According to police, the investigation found that the teacher, allegedly in conspiracy with his brother, administered medicines purportedly to terminate the girl's pregnancy. S...
