Srinagar, Aug. 5 -- Srinagar- The High Court of J&K and Ladakh on Wednesday stayed further contempt proceedings initiated by the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) against the Vice Chancellor of the Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST), Prof. Shakil Ahmad Romshoo, while directing the Tribunal to proceed with and decide the main Original Application (OA) on merits.

A Division Bench comprising Acting Chief Justice Sanjeev Kumar and Justice Mohd Yousuf Wani issued notice in the petition filed by the IUST Vice Chancellor challenging the contempt proceedings.
