Srinagar, Sept. 16 -- Divisional Commissioner (Div Com) Kashmir, Anshul Garg, on Tuesday said that over 2,200 fruit-laden trucks were successfully evacuated through the Mughal Road in the past 24 hours.

Taking note of the distress faced by orchardists due to delays, Garg personally visited Peer Ki Gali along the Mughal Road to review the situation on the ground and ensure the unhindered movement of fruit trucks.

He later inspected the Fruit Mandi at Aglar, Shopian, where he held detailed interactions with fruit growers, traders, transporters, and representatives of the horticulture sector.
