India, Oct. 2 -- Srinagar- Prime Minister Narendra Modi is turning Mahatma Gandhi's dreams into reality, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha said on Thursday while paying tributes to the Father of the Nation on his 156th birth anniversary in Srinagar.
Addressing the UT-level function, the Lieutenant Governor said Bapu's ideals of non-violence, truth, tolerance and compassion remain a source of inspiration for humanity and it was the collective responsibility of society to instill these values in the younger generation.
"We live in a time when global challenges threaten to undermine peace and stability. We must follow the ideals of Pujya Bapu to address contemporary challenges," he said.
