Srinagar, Aug. 15 -- Srinagar- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday laid out an ambitious roadmap for a developed India by 2047, calling for bigger dreams, firmer resolve and accelerated reforms while announcing a series of initiatives spanning artificial intelligence, semiconductors, nuclear energy, defence, education, sports and women-led development.

Addressing the nation from the ramparts of the Red Fort on the 80th Independence Day, Modi said India could no longer afford to move forward with "small dreams" and called upon citizens to transform dreams into resolve, resolve into capability and capability into success.
