Srinagar, July 10 -- Srinagar- A fresh Western Disturbance is likely to affect most parts of Jammu and Kashmir from July 11 to 12, bringing intermittent rain showers and spells, even as temperatures remained several degrees above normal across Kashmir on Friday.

Independent weather forecaster Faizan Arif said moisture-laden winds from the southeast, which contributed to recent heavy rainfall episodes, are expected to remain absent during the upcoming spell.

However, moisture-laden winds from the Arabian Sea, usually associated with Western Disturbances, are likely to influence the region, though their impact is expected to remain relatively weak.
