Srinagar, Aug. 25 -- Heavy rains over the past 48 hours have caused waterlogging in residential areas, damaged a bridge on the Jammu-Pathankot highway, and triggered landslides in Kishtwar, Ramban and Bandipora. The India Meteorological Department has forecast moderate to intense rainfall till August 27, warning of cloudbursts and flash floods. In a state still haunted by its past deluge.
