Srinagar, Dec. 18 -- The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of Crime Branch Kashmir (CBK) has filed a charge sheet against two accused from Kupwara for allegedly duping a man of 11 lakh rupees on the pretext of arranging a government job.

The accused, a man and a woman from Kupwara, allegedly conspired to cheat the victim by promising a government job and taking money without fulfilling the promise.

According to a statement, the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) Kashmir of Crime Branch Kashmir has filed a charge sheet in FIR No. 08/2024 under Sections 420 and 120-B IPC against two accused persons in connection with a cheating and conspiracy case involving a fake promise of a government job.
