Srinagar, April 22 -- Srinagar- A man in south Kashmir's Pulwama district has applied for a sweeper's post at a primary health centre where he earlier worked as a lab technician, drawing attention to rising unemployment in the region.

The case surfaced afterMohit Bhan,spokesperson of thePeoples Democratic Party,shared the man's application letter on Facebook, withholding his identity.

In the letter addressed to the Primary Health Centre (PHC) Awantipora, the applicant, a resident of Beighpora village, said he had previously worked at the same facility as a lab technician.
