Srinagar, May 18 -- Srinagar- The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of Crime Branch Jammu and Kashmir has filed a chargesheet against a former In-Charge Superintendent Engineer of the J&K State Power Development Corporation (SPDC), now retired, for allegedly manipulating his date of birth in official records to secure undue service benefits.

According to officials, the chargesheet was presented before the Court of Chief Judicial Magistrate Srinagar in connection with FIR No. 09/2015 registered under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471 and 201 of the Ranbir Penal Code (RPC).

The case was initiated following a written complaint alleging tampering of service records by the then I/C Superintendent Engineer of the J&K State Power Development Corporation....
