Srinagar, June 1 -- Srinagar- The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) Kashmir of Crime Branch Jammu and Kashmir has filed a chargesheet before the Court of Chief Judicial Magistrate Srinagar in connection with an alleged land fraud case involving the sale of the same parcel of land to multiple buyers.

According to an official statement, the chargesheet has been filed in FIR No. 03/2024 under Sections 420, 468, 167 and 120-B of the Ranbir Penal Code (RPC) against three accused persons for their alleged involvement in the fraud.

The case pertains to the purported fraudulent sale of a land parcel located at Khushipora, HMT Srinagar, to several purchasers through separate registered sale deeds.
