Srinagar, June 12 -- Srinagar- A school bus driver was killed and two minor sisters sustained injuries after a school bus met with an accident in the Chadoora area of central Kashmir's Budgam district on Friday, officials said.

According to officials, the bus, belonging to IPTS School Khansahib, lost control and plunged into a deep gorge in the Negoo Jabbad area of Brenwar in Chadoora.

The deceased driver was identified as Shahid Ahmad Lone, a resident of Kachwari, Khansahib. He died on the spot due to the impact of the crash.

The injured students were identified as sisters Zeenat Ul Islam and Ifra Rashid, daughters of Abdul Rashid Gosi of Check-e-Quds, Khansahib.
