Srinagar, Aug. 26 -- Srinagar - Kashmir witnessed Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) celebrations with religious fervour on Wednesday, with thousands of devotees participating in processions and gatherings across several districts to commemorate the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

In Srinagar, men, women, youngsters, elderly devotees and children joined processions from different areas, reciting durood and naats and raising religious slogans.

Children dressed in traditional attire accompanied their families, while youngsters and elderly devotees walked alongside them, giving the celebrations a strong family and community character.
