Srinagar, April 26 -- I woke up to the news that there was an assassination attempt of sorts on you. Intriguingly, the attempt happened at the same hotel where another Republican president, Ronald Reagan, was shot.

It is easy to concede to a conspiracy theory, which, however, over the years, has proven to be uncannily true, that the attempt had the hallmarks of an orchestrated false flag operation to bolster your flagging political fortunes against the backdrop of US midterms.
